On Monday’s monthly Community Council meeting Nick Hobson of Skelmorlie Environment Trust tabled the proposal for the Trust to develop a Local Place Plan on behalf of the Community.
We are delighted that the Community Council backed our proposal and have agreed that Skelmorlie Environment Trust can lead this initiative.
“What’s a Local Place Plan?” you might ask!
Local Place Plans are community-led plans that allow Community bodies to actively plan for the future of their community.
They have a focus on development, land use and ‘place-making’ (an all‐inclusive approach to the design, development, regeneration, and management of the built environment).
