It’s time for our AGM! Year 3! It’s been a big one so lots to reflect on, and lots to look forward to in 2025.
What is the purpose of an AGM?
- To allow your members to hear reports from the committee, the achievements and work of your group over the year.
- To elect the Committee for the next year.
- To make any changes to the constitution.
At an AGM, the committee all step down and then we look to refill the positions.

- Treasurer – currently held by Andrew Brown
- Fundraising & Community Engagement – currently held by Rachel McLean
- Communications & IT Support – currently held by Naomi Spirit-Hawthorne
New Roles?
If anyone would like to help us shape the group then we are also open to evolving the team and creating some new roles! Or can even join as a general member, or in a supportive role.
Green Screen
We’ve decided to combine the AGM with a social event, so are going to bring back the Green Screen. If you only want to attend one part of the evening that is perfectly ok!
But if you are staying for the green screen, BYOB and snacks for afterwards! Film TBC – the current suggestion is to watch some David Attenborough and as always, we are also open to suggestions from our members! (We require permission to view the film in a public space though – so we need to check this out in advance).
