After a bit of a hiatus, we’re excited to be back with our green screen nights – and this time with the added benefit of a plant swap!
The film – Kiss The Ground
This time we are learning about the importance of the good old brown stuff it’s too easy to take for granted.
Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis.
Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Plant Swap
One of our members had the wonderful idea of having a plant sale since so many of us are aspiring gardeners. We should all be in the planting mood by then and if you’re anything like me – have planted a few too many vegetables and too few flowers! Or maybe you’re the other way around. Either way, we invite you to bring any spare plants you might have, and some spare pennies!
We’ll have some houseplants, vegetables, herbs and flowers available for small donations.
This time at the Community Centre
Please note the venue change! While we appreciate the tennis club, we realised last summer that it was too light in the evening time for the projector to work. So this Green Screen – we’re going to the community centre, which was a reasonable price to book and has the facilities we need!
