This is a bit of a last-minute event due to popular demand! There has been a lot of work on the Crescent with the lovely Design Team at Skills Development Scotland coming for their volunteer day and giving it a good go during the week. They have managed to do a lot of work connecting the other end of the path from the bowling club. We’re very grateful to have their enthusiasm and hard work for our project!
A few of us are going down on Sunday to do even more. We will be doing
- more rhoddie chopping (yeah!)
- further work on the path,
- look to how we get through the “dark forest” Laurel in the middle section,
- lay some of the chippings on the path and
- prepare the clearing in advance of our winter solstice event coming up.
Everyone is welcome to come down and give us a hand on Sunday from 11!
