We are delighted to welcome Peter Livingstone of Eadha Enterprises to give us a talk.

Who are Eadha Enterprises

Eadha Enterprises are a social enterprise that owns a nursery of rare trees and is expert in woodland creation and management. They also offer support to local communities to deliver woodland projects.

What is the talk about

Peter is going to talk us through what Eadha do, and some of the projects they are involved in such asthe Yearn Stane project, – a re-wilding project for the Renfrewshire Hills contained within the Clyde Muirshiel Park.   We can also discuss ways in which we could possibly collaborate in the future. For example, the cost of this talk? A few saplings from Tom and Maries native oaks.

Who is Peter Livingston

Peter Graduated from St Andrews University with a Geography/Geology degree and then went on to do a Masters in Environmental Studies at Strathclyde University.  Here he developed an interest in environmental issues and in particular from a Scottish perspective, going on to write his thesis on the Millennium Forest Project.  He started his career working for a small consultancy undertaking air emissions monitoring.  He then went on to work in engineering consultancy working for a number of companies in Glasgow undertaking ground investigation, contaminated land assessments, and mining assessments. He left this industry in 2010 to co-found Eadha Enterprises to take forward what up until then had been a hobby propagating cuttings from local aspen trees and promoting local conservation projects.

Who is this talk for?

This tall is open to anyone who is interested in the value of the natural world around us! It doesn’t matter if you’ve not been before come along and enjoy an interesting evening and some networking!
