We’ll meet 9.30 am at Meigle Beach with cars and bags to pick up seaweed.
Bring a few gardening tools, such as gloves, secateurs for freeing any trapped branches/cutting away long grass, mallets for stake consolidation and some cable ties. Whatever you have kicking around at home, don’t go out buying anything as we can share!
If you want to come but don’t have transport get in touch, or if you want to just join for the mulching then meet at the trees about 10:30. If the seaweed hasn’t arrived get started pulling weeds from under the tree guards.

*Mulching the fruit trees is beneficial for a few reasons, it suppresses weed growth and provides nutrients for the soil – better nutrients = tastier fruit!
